I see more and more people cycling as part of their commute. They'll either board a train or bus to complete their journey. This is a neat concept, no?

Sometime in mid - December 2004 I arrived home to the flashing emergency lights of fire and police vehicles. The road was blocked and I did not venture forth. On a walk I came upon the source of the emergency, this burned out house about a half block from me. It was a very sad sight and I'm wondering what's become of its occupants.

Cyclist's Commute


The sun's setting fast and this guy's in dark clothing. Not conducive to a safe, uneventful ride home. Especially, not in Los Angeles!

A gorgeous day at the beach, with the Santana winds blowing and people want to bike ride and be outdoors.

Skateboarders

Many cities have signs posted prohibiting rollerblading, skateboarding or scootering on sidewalks or public buildings. I surmise it's because they're worried about liability should injury occur. They kids were oblivious to any concerns.

It's hard for the homeless to find shelter in this unending rain.

So far, so good. It's raining, he has shelter.

Poor guy can't get a break! The wind and rain has won.

This is a building near downtown L.A.'s Pershing Square. Save for the palm tree, I feel like I'm in New Your city. LOL

Yup, even in L.A. we have a skating rink. It's located in Pershing Square in the heart of downtown. It's not very large, but it accommodates enough people. The sun was finally out today and people skated as a live band performed. The band is on the right side of the screen below the purple banner.

Is it morning or night?

It's always unsettling to be approached by panhandlers while at a stoplight. I just feel so vulnerable.

Oh the glory days of the 1980s and simple video games. Games you could finish in an hour and feel satisfied with your win! I bought this all in one game which includes: Space Invaders, Centipede, Breakout, Pong, Asteroids, etc. All the ones mentioned are my faves!
