Los Lonely Boys rocking the Greek. Buying concert tix that result in great seating is not my forte.

Ozomatli mixing it with the audience and chanting: "Ozomatli, ya se fue!"

First time I've ever seen one. Boo knew what it is for. I didn't. Why couldn't you just put the marble between your index finger and thumb and shoot?

I was born too late to know or have a Shirley Temple doll, but I've certainly heard a lot about her from my mom and aunts.

Is anyone else watching the four part feature iPod Nation on CNN's Showbiz tonight? They have a survey about which method is best for buying music: online vs. CD? Surprisingly, the results were close. Online 55% vs. CD 45%. Place my vote in the CD category!

Good things arrive in boxes bearing the Amazon logo! I've just added one more book to my expanding list of Books to Read by the end of the Year.

I suppose there's a buyer on eBay for each and every one of these little guys. I think I'll keep them, though.

This is a new theater in downtown Monrovia. The area is reminiscent of a downtown you'd expect to find in a small mid-western town. They did a nice job of making the theater blend in.

I was sitting in my car during lunch when I noticed an increase in parking garage patrols. It's a sign of the times. Heightened security and all of that. I guess there's no turning back.

I was attracted to this retro sign and its neon. They don't make them like this anymore.

A very nice, laid back evening at the Monrovia Coffee Company coffeehouse. The atmosphere is both relaxing and inviting with tempting aromas.

The heat is on and it's time to break out the grill and BBQ. It was a long wet winter in So. Cal. and we're ready to relax and eat!

This is the business everyone thought would go under first. It's been hanging in there for ten years. It's survived the arrival of Star*bucks down the street (five years past) and the new Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf two blocks away (two years past). I always feel a sense of pride when I see it buzzing with activity. iBrowse was also the first indie coffee house in my area, to offer 30 minutes of Internet access with the purchase of brew and a danish.

My city's sole candle and bath salt store is closing after three years of struggle. We don't have the demographic to support this type of small business. It's back to Illuminations I go.

Only in Beverly Hills, CA would a pawn shop be listed as a Collateral Lender. Yeah, right!

Our adopted cat Little Girl. She's quite the elusive one, so Boo's photo is quite the snap!
