Every where I go, folks have headphones or ear buds and they're lost in their tunes!

A rarity, the rail car of the Goldline is pretty empty. It's usually quite difficult to capture a shot of the cab!

Ahhh, the wonders of Borders books. You can literally hang out, read, chat, people watch and even listen to music.

My big boy rolling in the driveway like it's heaven and getting his fur all dusty with tiny twigs, leaves and debris. Lovely!

A real eye catcher on the 134 frwy westbound in Burbank. One of the moments when I was happy I had my camera ready!

Intimate conversation on an overcast and cold morning. The coffeehouse has become the new community center.

The one good thing about rainy weather, a beautiful rainbow streaks across the sky. A reminder of God's promise to us.

The view from car window as I drove through a downpour. Don't worry, I pulled off to the side of the road. Sunshine, we need sunshine!

I love the look of this restaurant's patio section. The chairs and umbrellas are missing due to the inclement weather.

Give this sign time...now that it's been stickered twice, it's a matter of time before more arrive, obliterating the sign's message!

On a rainy morning, nothing quenches my thirst, warms me inside and outside and is as satisfying as a hot vanilla latte from the Coffee, Bean & Tea Leaf and a poppy seed muffin from Mrs. Beasley's.

The rain's back and I'm always amazed when I see cyclist riding their bikes in the rain. As a motorist, I think the slick roads are hazardous enough for drivers. I would never - ever - venture forth in the rain on a bicycle. I'd be too chicken. I'd succumb and take public transportation. This guy must have nerves of steel to cycle through car loving Los Angeles.

I fancied the cat cookie jar (the one wearing sunglasses) but not the price. Alas, he remains on display and I with no place to store my cookies.

Poor gnomes, they're all muddy and bracing for more rain!

Carousel in Santa Anita Mall

In anticipation of more rain, the garage has been sandbag. We have a pretty bad leak in the rear and with all the rain we've been having, it's made a mess in the garage. Little Girl loves retreating to the garage during cold or wet weather and she's been very vocal about her discontent with the damp conditions. We're hopeful that the sandbags will stave off anymore water problems.

Community Angels Visit Alhambra

Flower Power Angel

Back in 2001 angels graced our community. I was so excited when they arrived and eagerly snapped away. I had no idea if they'd be seen by others. I recently came upon them and would like to share them with you over the next several days.

I've opened a computer on several occasions: to add memory, install a CDRW, install a second hard drive, etc. Each time, I've taken a photo of the area I'm working on, just in case something goes wrong. Nothing clearly illustrates the before and after like a photo.

Gas prices are rising in So Cal. I sure enjoyed the $1.83 prices a month ago. If only it would last or continue lowering. Look at that view: snowcapped mountains in the background and palm trees in the foreground.

Chinatown in Los Angeles
Chinese New Year is almost upon us and this is the year of The Rooster. Hopefully, I'll have some shots of the colorful and spectacular New Years Parade later this month.
