Red

Don't know if it's because I've been so busy and am resentful of lack of time and space for blogging or if it's because I'm on fire to complete projects. Either way, red objects have been capturing my eye and this Mini Cooper was eye candy.

There can be no doubt that this car's owner loves his/her baby. She's polished, as well as primed and detailed. Gorgeous car in the heart of car country...Los Angeles!

Poodle clock

No one I knew while growing up ever owned a clock like this. I do remember seeing something similar in The Donna Reed Show, Father Knows Best or Leave it to Beaver. My sisters watched those programs and I always wondered why since they seemed very boring to me!

Beauty or Beast?

At first glance this truck looks average and very unassuming, but then...

Ahhh, it's warm!

It's been in the 80s all week and finally there's sunshine most of the day and heat, sweet humid heat!

Three good things about today:

Playing with Buddah
Relaxing

PDA Games

Having enjoyable and challenging games on a PDA can be a huge productivity loss. Word Wiggle is a game that I play daily and learn something new each time. I love word games and this one gives me a run for the money! LOL

Price vs. Value

Who are these people and how did they end up in this bin? It is said that everything and everyone has a price, a dollar amount that they will sell their most prized possession for. It is also said that in the 21st century we no longer recognize value.

Tai Chi

A group of Tai Chi practitioners gathers daily in a local park. Some mornings have been very crisp and damp but they're there engaged in a meditative experience. Their graceful motion has a very calming effect on me and is beautiful to observe.

Second Anniversary!

This is my second anniversary and I'm very happy to find myself still intrigued by many ordinary and abundant things! I don't know that my photography's improved much, a very smart gal once told me that only by snapping photos and "getting in the trenches" would my photography improve and my vista expandaed.

I still find it quite enjoyable and a lot of fun. I receive lots of satisfaction from sharing what interests me with others. The comment field doesn't reflect that this site receives many page views but, that's all right, I like knowing that it's here should someone happen upon it.

Antiques

We've all had them and can't remember what happened to them. One thing's for sure, we're not making any money selling them. This little duck cookie jar's priced at $75 in a local shop. If only...
